Natascha

This is an important topic and a "matter of the heart" for W00DY, so this post is very detailed.

His first piece and at the same time the most listened one, to this day

For all the people wich lost a friend, a sister, a brother, a loved one, or mainly a pet - that´s his way to give a song out to people to help with the pain.

He took a completley different route with this one to expiriment with unkown sounds and genres. But also he proved himself, that there is no boundaries in his capability in creating music.

His enter in the world of Big Room, a song about time. How you think you are ahead, but time always runs away from you, no matter how much you try, to chase it.

If you are not careful enough, you eventually "run out of time" at the end of your chase.

A song inspired by the Ottoman (turkish) empire, wich lead their army with heavy punching drums and terryfing melodies into battle. Tales are reporting their enemys fleet battle before it even begun, hearing this powerful sound.

The song is inspired & referring to the novel "Seelenficker" by the anonymous author Natascha, she is about her way as a drug prostitute.

German streetworkers which worked with the girl (her name was kept anonym) decided to share her diary, since it was so lyrically written in such a sober but sinister way.

She processed the traumatic experiences in a diary, which was published in 2007 by Ubooks-Verlag. The publisher opted for a creative layout variation to represent the book as authentically as possible, and so ink blots, crossed out words and handwritten notes can be found in the margins.

The novel is written in the form of a diary and has printed notes on the pages that look like handwriting.

The book does not tell a linear story, but gives the reader an overall impression of Natascha's experiences on the street as a prostitute.

The author, who has just come of age, tells of her childhood in the children’s home, of her first drugs at twelve and the drug spree, the hard life between clients, pimps, dealers and school.

Unembellished, relentlessly honest, she shows us what life in Germany can be like, far away from comfort and family.

W00DY has always found the book intriguing because it is so incredibly authentic and uncomfortably honest. So he decided to wake up this important piece again and hopes that if he succeeds he will help young women in the same situation Natascha was in back then.

Natascha was eight or nine years old when her mother's boyfriend abused her for the first time. She was twelve years old when she took drugs for the first time and went babysitting. Natascha is now clean. She has completed school and training and is pursuing a profession.

Translated Lyrics:

"She basically Says: " Only two more guys until I can buy Crystal again....then it doesn’t burn anymore... then the life begins for a short moment....or the life ends for a moment .... or forever....what even is that true life?.... yes.... the true life!

Explanation:

true  (wahre) and Product (Ware) have the same meaning in German: so you got to understand when she says "the true life" she basically means "living the product" -> she refers to herself as the product to buy herself crystal.
